is seeking a hands-on Rotating Equipment Technician to support the Rotating Engineer in maintenance, troubleshooting and operation of rotating equipment across mining and mineral processing facilities in Malaysia. The role involves inspecting equipment, servicing pumps and motors, and performing preventive maintenance with strict adherence to site safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on mechanical maintenance experience
• Practical knowledge of rotating equipment and mechanical troubleshooting
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willing to work at mining and processing sites

Responsibilities

• Assist the Rotating Engineer in daily equipment inspection, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Support installation, servicing and repair of pumps, motors, gearboxes, crushers, ball mills, conveyors and other rotating equipment.
• Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Identify mechanical faults and report abnormalities promptly.
• Assist in breakdown maintenance and equipment recovery.
• Maintain basic maintenance records and work reports.
• Follow site safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping.
• Work closely with the Rotating Engineer and Operations Team.
