Job summary

Hilton is hiring a Room Attendant in Malaysia. You will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms to a high standard, replenishing linens and amenities, and maintaining housekeeping supplies. The role requires attention to detail and courteous guest service, with shifts including weekends and holidays.

This position is based on-site at Hilton properties in Kuching. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year in housekeeping, strong cleanliness standards, basic English, and the ability to perform

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of housekeeping experience.
• Ability to maintain high cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Basic proficiency in English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep guest rooms spotless: clean and tidy assigned rooms, including beds, bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and occasional deep cleaning.
• Replenish linens and amenities: replace bed linens, towels, and guest essentials as needed.
• Manage supplies: stock, maintain, and transport the housekeeping cart daily.
• Delight our guests: respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
• Manage waste disposal: dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas.

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Housekeeping department
• Prior housekeeping or room attendant experience preferred, especially in hospitality.
• Ability to maintain high cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Capable of performing physically demanding tasks (e.g., lifting, bending, standing for long periods).
• Courteous and professional when interacting with guests.
• Efficient in completing tasks within set timeframes.
• Works well with housekeeping and other hotel departments.
• Available to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.

Here’s what you'll do during a typical day:

• Keep guest rooms spotless: Clean and tidy assigned rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and performing deep cleaning tasks as needed
• Replenish linens and amenities: Replace bed linens, towels, and guest essentials as needed
• Manage supplies: Stock, maintain, and transport the housekeeping supply cart daily
