Job summary

DF Automation and Robotics Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Systems & Robotics Engineer to design, develop, and integrate software and hardware for unmanned robotics platforms. You will lead end-to-end system integration from requirements to deployment, with emphasis on software development and real-world implementation.

The role requires strong skills in C/C++ or Python, robotics systems, and embedded hardware, plus hands-on testing and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field.
• 2–5 years of experience in robotics, embedded systems, or system integration.
• Fresh graduates with strong robotics project work may be considered for junior roles.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer and product requirements into system-level designs and architectures.
• Design, develop, and integrate software modules for robotics systems (navigation, control, communication).
• Perform system integration across hardware and software components (sensors, controllers, embedded systems).
• Execute testing, validation, and troubleshooting of deployed systems.
• Diagnose and resolve system-level issues across software, hardware, and network layers.
• Support on-site deployment, commissioning, and technical support as needed.
• Collaborate with R&D, Project, Service, and Sales teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Maintain technical documentation (design specs, test reports, issue logs).
• Identify root causes and propose system improvements.
