Genting Malaysia Berhad is seeking a Robotics Maintenance Engineer to inspect and maintain robots, electrical systems, and power supplies at Genting Highlands. The role includes installing, configuring, and debugging robotics systems, performing calibration, and ensuring documentation of issues and repairs.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in electronics or related fields, 1+ year of maintenance experience, and proficiency in C++ or Python with familiarity in Ubuntu/ROS2.
Conduct daily inspections of robots, electrical systems, power supply, and signal systems
Perform regular maintenance (cleaning, battery care, software updates, calibration, etc.)
Install, configure, and debug robots and systems
Diagnose faults and perform repairs, documenting issues and solutions
Develop SOPs for version deployment and troubleshooting
Provide on-site standby support during performances and handle emergencies promptly
Maintain detailed maintenance logs and records
Manage spare parts, tools, and ensure work area organisation
Bachelor’s degree or above in electronics, automation, computer science, or related fields
1+ year experience in robot or intelligent equipment maintenance (performance robots preferred)
Familiarity with Ubuntu/ROS2 and proficiency in C++ or Python
Strong hands-on skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues
Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work shifts or emergency repairs
