Job summary

Bybit is seeking a Data Risk Analyst to support risk operations in Kuala Lumpur. You will review campaigns, perform data quality checks, and analyze user behavior to inform operational decisions and strategy.

Responsibilities

• Support risk operations by conducting campaign reviews, data quality checks, case reviews, and user behavior analysis.
• Perform in-depth analysis combining internal and external data to provide actionable insights for operational decisions and strategy.
• Monitor data, define risk indicators, optimise workflows, and establish a standardised risk operations framework to improve efficiency.
• Maintain strong cross-functional relationships with Marketing, Operations, Customer Service and other teams to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and risk-control strategies.

Responsibilities

• Support risk operations by conducting campaign reviews, activity data quality checks, case reviews, and user behaviour analysis based on operational needs
• Perform in-depth analysis combining internal and external data to provide actionable insights supporting operational decisions, strategy development, and model iteration
• Continuously monitor data, define risk indicators, optimise workflows, and establish a standardised risk operations framework to improve operational efficiency
• Maintain strong cross-functional relationships with Marketing, Operations, Customer Service and other teams to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and risk control strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above; 2+ years of experience in data analysis or data operations, with exposure to at least one of the following: business risk control, marketing anti-fraud, account security, or fund security
• Proficient in SQL with the ability to conduct independent data analysis; experience with R or Python is a plus
• Strong business acumen and risk intuition, with solid logical thinking and data sensitivity — candidates should be able to identify risks from anomalous data and articulate the underlying causes
• Fluency in spoken Mandarine is a plus
