Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Transport Rider in Malaysia to deliver goods and parcels efficiently and safely, while upholding high customer service standards. The role emphasizes timely deliveries and accurate record-keeping, with duties including vehicle checks and clear communication with dispatchers and customers.

Ideal candidates have a valid motorcycle license, delivery experience, and the ability to work independently with good time management and physical fitness for loading/unloading

Qualifications

• Proven delivery experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication with dispatchers, customers, and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods and parcels to assigned locations promptly and safely.
• Maintain delivery records and obtain necessary signatures.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure vehicle is in good working condition.
• Adhere to traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Communicate delivery status with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers.
• Report issues during delivery promptly.
• Assist with loading and unloading when required.

About Us

The Transport Rider is responsible for delivering goods and parcels efficiently and safely to designated locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver goods, documents, and parcels to assigned locations promptly and safely.
• Ensure accurate handling and delivery of items as per instructions.
• Maintain delivery records and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure the motorcycle or delivery vehicle is in good working condition.
• Adhere to traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers regarding delivery status.
• Report any issues or incidents during delivery promptly.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle.

Requirements

• Valid motorcycle driving license. (Full license)
• Proven experience as a delivery rider or similar role preferred.
• Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to handle loading/unloading tasks.
