Quectel is a leading global supplier of cellular IoT modules and antennas. We seek a test engineer to execute RF performance tests across 2G/3G/4G/5G/Bluetooth/Wi‑Fi products, analyze test data, and support cross‑functional teams in QA and certifications.

The role requires a Bachelor's in electronics or wireless comms, strong English, and hands‑on hardware testing experience. Based in Penang, the position is on‑site with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• English fluency is essential for daily work communication.
• Bachelor's degree in electronic, information, or wireless communication engineering.
• Basic knowledge of electronics, telecommunications, computer science.
• Experience in developing test cases, test plans and familiarity with test specifications.
• Strong understanding of the tested unit's hardware.
• Able to analyze test data accuracy and solve test environment problems during testing.
• Proficient in using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, power supplies, network analyzers, and integrated meters.
• Preference for RF, EMC, Reliability, and Signal Integrity testing.
• Familiarity with wireless communication protocols is desirable.
• Ability to travel if necessary; 2+ years of R&D Centre experience.

Responsabilités

• Execute RF Performance Test Cases for 2G/3G/4G/5G/Bluetooth/Wi‑Fi products.
• Execute power consumption, audio, EMC, signal integrity test cases.
• Execute use case testing for producible categories of 2G/3G/4G/5G/Bluetooth/Wi‑Fi.
• Verify version, golden board, production testing tools and fixtures.
• Document detailed test reports and concise customer‑facing summaries.
• Develop a simple project testing strategy.
• Support FAE/sales/certification teams in resolving test issues.
• Submit test bugs and track closed-loop resolutions.
