Job summary

Comet Technologies Malaysia is seeking an Assembly Technician for the Penang site in the Plasma Control Technologies division. You will perform assembly and testing following work instructions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality products used in memory chips and touch sensors.

This role requires a Technician Diploma and at least 5 years in semiconductor equipment manufacturing, with experience in RF networks and generators, and proficiency in LabVIEW, C++, and

Qualifications

• Technician Diploma with at least 5 years of related experience.
• Experience with RF matching networks and RF generators.
• Proficiency in LabVIEW, C++, and Excel automation/macros.
• SAP and MES experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and testing per work instructions, ensuring quality.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and support failure analysis.
• Read schematics, assembly drawings, and technical docs for setup and troubleshooting.
• Maintain tools, fixtures, and workstations following 5S standards.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.
