Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a dedicated Support Technician for our Shah Alam, Selangor location to join a dynamic retail environment where technical expertise meets customer service. You will maintain clean work areas, handle diagnostics, and assist customers with repairs and troubleshooting.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma or Certificate in Electronics/IT and 1–2 years of relevant experience, with strong problem-solving and communication skills. Weekend and event support may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Electronics, IT, or related technical field.
• 1–2 years in technical repair or customer service, preferably in retail.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe service area by performing daily cleaning of tools and workspace.
• Organise and prioritise pending repair units for efficient workflow.
• Attend to customer reservations promptly and assist walk-in customers with diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Process claims repair units, ensuring accurate documentation and timely submission to authorised service partners.
• Update service system records throughout the day for accurate status tracking.
• Provide upgrade and trade-in advice, recommending suitable options based on customer needs and device condition.
• Support in-store activities and company events, ensuring technical readiness and smooth operations.
