Job summary

VERONA BAKE (M) SDN BHD is seeking a friendly Sales Associate to support customers and close sales at MVSK in Johor Bahru. You will recommend products, handle payments, and ensure accurate change while maintaining neat presentation and food safety standards.

The role requires good communication in Malay and English (Mandarin for Mandarin-speaking clients), a minimum of SPM, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Training provided and staff discounts offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent required.
• Experience in retail or related field preferred.
• Able to communicate in Malay and English, or Mandarin for Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work flexible schedule including OT, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Recommend products to customers and complete the sales process.
• Answer customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Process customer payments and ensure accurate change is given.
• Keep up to date with product information.
• Ensure timely product shelving and neat presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness in the store and work areas, ensuring food safety.

• To perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior.
