Job summary

TNS SKIN LAB is seeking a Retail Sales Assistant to join our Kuala Lumpur team at Mid Valley Mega Mall. You will be the face of our brand, delivering friendly customer service while promoting our skincare products and offering product recommendations.

Join us in creating a welcoming store environment, meeting daily sales targets, and building lasting relationships with clients. Prior retail or beauty industry experience is preferred, with a professional appearance and reliability valued highly.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers warmly and providing expert product recommendations based on their skincare needs and concerns
• Demonstrating product features and benefits to customers, highlighting quality and value propositions
• Processing sales transactions accurately using the till system and handling cash and card payments
• Maintaining a clean, organised and visually appealing retail display, ensuring stock levels are adequate
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and brand loyalty
• Answering customer enquiries about products, ingredients, and skincare routines with confidence and professionalism
• Assisting with stock control, including receiving, checking and displaying new merchandise
• Meeting daily and monthly sales targets whilst maintaining high standards of customer service
• Making social media postings for your outlet during your free time

About the role

We are seeking a Retail Sales Assistant to join the team at TNS SKIN LAB Mid Valley Mega Mall. This is a full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, delivering exceptional customer service whilst promoting our skincare products to our valued clients. You will play a vital part in creating a welcoming retail environment and driving sales through product knowledge, customer engagement, and a genuine passion for skincare excellence.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting customers warmly and providing expert product recommendations based on their skincare needs and concerns
• Demonstrating product features and benefits to customers, highlighting quality and value propositions
• Processing sales transactions accurately using the till system and handling cash and card payments
• Maintaining a clean, organised and visually appealing retail display, ensuring stock levels are adequate

What we're looking for

• Previous retail or customer service experience, preferably in the beauty or skincare industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers and build rapport
• A genuine interest in skincare products and a willingness to develop product knowledge
• Excellent numeracy skills and proficiency with till systems and payment processing
• The ability to work flexibly, including weekends and public holidays as required
• A professional appearance and commitment to maintaining high standards of personal hygiene
• Reliability, punctuality and a positive, proactive attitude towards work
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer concerns professionally and diplomatically
• Experience in social media or digital marketing would be advantageous
