Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Health Sciences, or related field
• Proven experience as a nutritionist, health consultant, or similar customer-facing role
• Strong knowledge of nutritional science, dietary guidelines, and health benefits of supplements
• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts
• Genuine passion for health and helping customers achieve wellness goals
• Customer service experience with ability to build rapport with diverse clients
• Basic proficiency with retail systems and POS technology
• Ability to work full-time retail hours, including weekends/public holidays
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages advantageous
• Reliable, professional demeanour with strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nutritional advice and product recommendations to customers, assessing their individual health needs and goals

About the role

LinoGreen Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated Retail Nutritionist to join our team in Ipoh, Perak. This is a full-time position based on-site at our retail location. As a Retail Nutritionist, you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between our nutritional products and our customers, providing expert guidance and support to help them make informed decisions about their health and wellness. Your expertise and passion for nutrition will be instrumental in building customer trust, driving sales, and advancing our mission to promote healthier lifestyles within the community.

Key responsibilities

Provide expert nutritional advice and product recommendations to customers, assessing their individual health needs and goals

Educate customers on the benefits and proper usage of nutritional products and supplements

Conduct product demonstrations and sampling sessions to help customers understand product features and benefits

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products, ingredients, and nutritional science relevant to the retail range

Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage loyalty and repeat business

Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems

Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming retail environment that reflects company standards. Basic cleaning duty is required.

Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management and product displays

Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service

Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and promotional campaigns

What we're looking for

Diploma or degree qualification in Nutrition, Dietetics, Health Sciences, or a related field

Basic proficiency with retail systems and point-of-sale technology

Ability to work full-time retail hours, including potential weekend and public holiday shifts

Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are advantageous

Reliable, professional demeanour with strong attention to detail and organisational skills
