Job summary

myNEWS Holding Berhad is seeking a seasoned Project/Construction Manager to supervise end-to-end store fit-out projects across multiple outlets in Malaysia. You will plan timelines, budgets, and schedules while coordinating with design, operations, leasing, and external consultants to ensure on-time handover and compliance with regulatory and brand standards.

You will monitor costs, negotiate with contractors, and drive quality and safety across M&E coordination and site activities.

Qualifications

• Degree in fit-out, interior design, architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years in retail fit-out or commercial construction.
• Experience managing multi-outlet rollouts.
• Strong cost control, tendering and contractor negotiation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end store fit-out projects, new openings, refurbishments, relocations.
• Develop project timelines, budgets and execution schedules.
• Coordinate with design, operations, leasing and consultants.
• Ensure timely handover for operations commencement and compliance.
• Oversee cost benchmarking, VO tracking and value engineering.
