About the role

We are seeking a Retail Executive to join the team at INTER POLO MARKETING (TRAVEL HOUSE) in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales performance across our retail operations. As a Retail Executive, you will be instrumental in creating a positive shopping experience, managing day-to-day store activities, and contributing to the achievement of our retail objectives. This role offers the opportunity to develop your retail management expertise within a dynamic consumer products environment.

• Deliver outstanding customer service by attending to customer enquiries, providing product information, and assisting with purchases
• Maintain store appearance and visual merchandising standards to ensure an inviting shopping environment
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, including stock rotation and replenishment
• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and key performance indicators
• Assist with promotional activities, product launches, and special events
• Maintain a clean, organised and secure store environment in accordance with company standards
• Handle customer complaints professionally and elevate issues as necessary
• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and support colleagues in delivering excellent service
• Follow company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in store management or customer-facing retail roles
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse customer groups
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced retail setting
• Basic numeracy skills and proficiency with point-of-sale systems
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
• Flexibility and willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
• A positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team
• Relevant retail or consumer products qualifications would be advantageous
