Overall Job Objectives
The Restaurant Manager supports the daily operations of MODU by ensuring smooth service flow, maintaining high standards of Korean hospitality, and upholding the brand’s Hanbang dining philosophy. This role oversees the front‑of‑house team, coordinates closely with the kitchen, and ensures that all operational, service, and hygiene standards are consistently met. The position also focuses on enhancing guest satisfaction, managing staff performance, monitoring outlet productivity, and contributing to overall business efficiency. Ultimately, the Supervisor / F&B Assistant Manager plays a key role in delivering a warm, nourishing, and seamless dining experience that reflects the values of MODU and ensures operational excellence across the restaurant.
Core Responsibilities
Oversee daily floor operations to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
Supervise opening and closing procedures, ensuring all protocols are followed.
Lead, support, and coordinate the FOH team to deliver warm and attentive Korean hospitality.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across the outlet.
Ensure effective and timely communication between FOH and BOH teams.
Track and record daily, weekly, and monthly sales, costs, and operational revenues.
Manage vendor contracts, invoices, purchasing records, and related documentation.
Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and coordinate ordering.
Handle guest concerns professionally and provide solutions to ensure positive recovery.
Train new staff on service standards, menu knowledge, and MODU’s Hanbang dining philosophy.
Job Specifications
Prior 3 to 5 years experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role within the Retail industry.
Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
Excellent conflict resolution and team management abilities.
Availability to work within the restaurant’s operating hours, including weekends and holidays.
Deliver smooth and efficient outlet operations with consistent service quality.
Achieve high customer satisfaction through proactive guest engagement and issue resolution.
Maintain full compliance with regulatory standards for hygiene, safety, and cleanliness.
Ensure accurate reporting of sales, costs, inventories, and operational performance.
Build a strong and motivated FOH team capable of delivering MODU’s signature experience.
