Job summary

WILMAR PLANTATIONS SDN. BHD. is seeking a Data Officer, Responsible Sourcing (Data) to support NDPE implementation and supplier compliance across Wilmar’s global supply chain. This on-site role focuses on data coordination, analysis and reporting within sustainability programs.

The candidate will collaborate with regional teams, enhance reporting SOPs, and assist with data visualization and analytics for NDPE frameworks and related tools, including external verification processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, IT, Environmental Science, Supply Chain Management, Sustainability, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI.
• Familiarity with Python programming language is an added advantage.
• Ability to understand and manage complex unstructured data and systems.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for working with data.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to convey complex information to diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to collaborate across diverse teams within the organization.
• Familiarity with traceability, supply chain management or sustainability standards (RSPO/MSPO) is a plus.
• Desire to continuously learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate report activities for Wilmar’s global NDPE Implementation Reporting Framework (IRF) portfolio.
• Collaborate with local and regional teams to compile and analyze sustainability datasets in accordance with IRF requirements.
• Enhance SOPs and workflows for IRF reporting.
• Support data analytics and visualization of sustainability data across commodities.
• Coordinate and manage external verification processes for IRF portfolio, Supplier Reporting Tool (SRT) and other data programs as needed.
• Support the development and implementation of new data programs.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging trends, best practices and new technologies relevant to sustainability reporting and data analysis.

Job Title: Data Officer, Responsible Sourcing (Data)

Summary of Role

We are looking for a candidate with experience in supply chain and data management. This role will be part of the team that supports the implementation of Wilmar’s Sustainability Policy on No Deforestation, No Peat, and No Exploitation (NDPE) and ensuring supplier compliance across Wilmar’s global supply chain.

Role & Responsibilities

i. Co-ordinate report activities for Wilmar’s global NDPE Implementation Reporting Framework (IRF) portfolio.

ii. Working in close collaboration with relevant local and regional teams to compile and analyze sustainability- related datasets in accordance with IRF requirements.

iii.Enhance SOPs and workflows for IRF reporting.

iv. Support data analytics and visualization of Wilmar’s sustainability data and existing systems across commodities.

v. Co-ordinate and manage annual external verification processes for Wilmar’s global NDPE IRF portfolio, Supplier Reporting Tool (SRT) and other data programs as needed.

vi. Support the development and implementation of new data programs.

vii. Keeping up-to-date emerging trends, best practices and new technologies that are relevant to sustainability reporting and data analysis.

Qualification

i. Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Technology, Environmental Science, Supply Chain Management, Sustainability, or a related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

ii. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel, MS Power BI or other data analysis tools.

iii. Familiarity with Python programming language is an added advantage
