Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience as Maintenance Manager in hotel or resort.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, and general building maintenance.
• Good leadership, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Strong communication and team-management skills.
• Willing to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies when required.
• Experience in the hospitality industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance of the resort’s M&E systems, facilities and equipment.
• Lead and manage the maintenance/engineering team.
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Ensure facilities, equipment and utilities operate safely and efficiently.
• Manage contractors, suppliers and maintenance-related projects.
• Monitor maintenance costs and control the department’s budget.
• Ensure compliance with safety, statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Respond effectively to breakdowns and urgent maintenance issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and reduce operating costs.
