Job Description

• Conduct on-site and in-facility medical assessments on prospective patients coming into a Genesis facility.
• Discuss medical history and care needs of prospective patients coming into a Genesis facility with the marketing team.
• Conduct ward rounds and oversee medical management of patients.
• Examine and diagnose patients, create a treatment plan, and manage wound recovery.
• Oversee facility management, support services, and day to day operations of the facility are running smoothly.
• Delegate tasks to nurses and staff.
• Conduct routine and random bed side teaching for the benefit of nursing and care assistants.
• Respond to patient questions and health concerns.
• Prescribe medications and suggest lifestyle changes.
• Review and retain orderly and well-kept patient records.
• Collect specimens, refer to laboratory, and assess medical results.
• Administer topical, oral, intravenous, or intramuscular medications.
• Communicate pertinent medical records to appropriate specialists, family members and relevant authorities as needed.
• Report diseases and deaths in accordance with government rules.
• Responsible along with the Nursing Department, respond to patient complaints and feedback and improve patient care.
• To assure on compliance of SOP, regulations and medical protocols.
