Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide consultations and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Conduct health screenings, vaccinations, and preventive healthcare services.
• Perform minor medical procedures within primary care scope.
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic results to develop treatment plans.
• Build long-term doctor-patient relationships and provide continuity of care.
• Educate patients on disease prevention, medication adherence, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system.
• Work collaboratively with pharmacists and allied health professionals.
• Support telehealth services, including teleconsultations and EPS.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and ensure continuity of care.
• Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in CME and contribute to service improvements.
• Support clinic initiatives that enhance patient experience and quality of care.

Requirements

MBBS or an equivalent medical degree recognized by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).

Valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).

Experience in General Practice or Primary Care is preferred.
