Job summary

PMG HEALTHCARE SDN. BHD. is seeking a Resident Doctor to provide quality primary care at our clinic in Sitiawan, Perak. The role focuses on outpatient consultations, continuous patient care and collaborating with the clinic team.

The successful GP will hold MBBS or equivalent, be MMC registered with APC, and be capable of managing general outpatient cases independently, with strong communication and a patient-centred approach. Weekend rosters may apply.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.
• MMC full registration and APC current.
• Willing to work according to clinic roster including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct consultations, physical examinations and appropriate investigations.
• Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and chronic conditions.
• Perform minor procedures within your clinical competency and the clinic's available facilities.
• Provide health screenings, preventive care and patient counselling.
• Recognise emergencies, provide initial management and arrange referrals when required.
• Maintain accurate and timely consultation records, prescriptions and medical documentation.
• Work with clinic staff to ensure safe patient care and smooth daily operations.
• Follow clinical guidelines, infection prevention procedures and professional ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

Conduct consultations, physical examinations and appropriate investigations.

Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and chronic conditions.

Perform minor procedures within your clinical competency and the clinic's available facilities.

About you

MBBS, MD or an equivalent recognised medical qualification.

Full registration with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).

Completed compulsory service or obtained the relevant exemption, where applicable.

Able to manage general outpatient cases independently.

Good communication skills and a patient-centred approach.

Willing to work according to the clinic's roster, including weekends where scheduled.

Previous experience in primary care or a GP clinic is an advantage.
