Job summary

YOTEL Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dynamic Reservations Manager to lead the opening of our first property in Malaysia. You will head the Reservations team, ensuring accurate, efficient handling of all bookings and events, while maximizing room yield and guest satisfaction.

Reporting to the Revenue Manager, you\'ll shape the guest journey with senior management and uphold the brand values in daily operations. This is a pivotal managerial role in a high-energy, service‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a managerial level role.
• 3–5 years as an Assistant Reservations Manager in a larger property.
• Hotel opening experience would be an advantage.
• Desirable: Opera Cloud experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Reservations team to handle individual, group reservations and event enquiries.
• Coach and develop the Reservations team to be confident and motivated when interacting with guests.

YOTEL Kuala Lumpur, our first hotel in Malaysia, will be situated in the capital's Central Business District. Featuring 290 rooms, the hotel will showcase YOTEL's latest features including the brand's signature robotic concierge, motorised SmartBeds™, and fully integrated technologies for which YOTEL is known.

Guests will have access to the brand's multi-functional dining and co-working space – a 24-hour fitness centre, a Grab + Go snack station, and meeting hubs that can be used to network and relax. Guests, visitors of the hotel and locals will also have access to a rooftop pool and bar offering views of the city skyline.

Reporting to the Revenue Manager, the Reservations Manager will serve as a key member of the hotel senior management team and have a major part in the opening of YOTEL Kuala Lumpur.

More specifically, responsibilities will include the following:

• The role will lead a Reservations team in the future on property that will handle individual, group reservations and event enquiries for the hotel.
• Coach and develop the Reservations team to ensure they are confident, motivated and empowered when interacting with our guests.
• Responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all reservations, processing all details according to the hotel's policy and procedures and ensuring the yield is maximised at all times.
• Collaborate with the senior hotel management team to drive innovation and continued development of the guest journey.
• Alongside these key competencies, the incumbent of the role will be required to demonstrate the fundamentals of the company's Value's.

The skills we are looking for are:

• Previous experience in a managerial level role, preferably with 3-5 years as an Assistant Reservations Manager in a larger property or Reservations Manager of a similar size property
• Hotel opening experience would be an advantage, but not essential.
• Desirable: Used Opera Cloud.
