Job summary

Lih Mei Industrial Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Bachelor-level Chemist or related field for a hands-on R&D role. You will conduct research and development activities for new and existing products, perform laboratory testing and product analysis.

The ideal candidate is a fast learner who can work under pressure to meet project deadlines, communicate effectively, and contribute to reports and documentation, with proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Melayu.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or a related field is required
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
• Fast learner and able to work under pressure to meet the projects deadline
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication, reporting writing and presentation skills

• Develop, improve, and customize emulsion properties and polymerization method
• Prepare technical reports, research papers, and documentation
• Collect and organize technical journals related to emulsion polymerization and coatings for future reference
