If you are an Analyst Geek who is passionate about understanding how consumers think and behave; how locations impact travel behaviour; and how economies and marketplaces function, we would like to connect with you. As a Research analyst, you will work closely with experienced research teams to support the delivery of quantitative and qualitative research projects, providing actionable insights to address clients’ business questions and problems.
In this role, you will leverage your critical thinking skills to create high-quality and customised survey instruments, analyse the findings, and craft compelling narratives that assist clients in making informed decisions.
Assist in developing survey instruments that will deliver actionable insights to address clients’ research questions.
Write survey questions that are grammatically correct, logically consistent, and efficient, under the guidance of senior team members.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to execute research activities effectively and efficiently.
Assist in evaluating survey samples and research methodologies to ensure effective data collection.
Work closely with the programming, data processing, fieldwork, and quality control teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of collected data.
Manage deadlines to assist in producing timely and comprehensive reports.
Analyze survey data to prepare charts and other data visualization tools that effectively convey results.
Create visually appealing reports that provide insightful findings in response to clients’ research questions.
Assist in presenting research findings and insights to clients, ensuring the information is clear, compelling, and tailored to the audience's level of understanding and expertise.
Collect a wide range of research data from various secondary sources (both online and offline) and assist in conducting primary interviews with industry stakeholders and ecosystem participants as needed.
Update and maintain internal databases with accurate and timely data entry.
Candidate who possesses Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Psychology, Sociology, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
1-2 years of experience in research, analytics, finance, consulting, journalism, or related fields. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to research quality and accuracy.
Strong command of the English language with demonstrated writing and editing skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
Familiarity with statistical tools and programming languages such as SPSS, R, or Python is an advantage.
Candidates who are available to commence work in August or September will have an added advantage.
