Job summary

Binance in Malaysia is seeking a data-focused contributor to work across data from engineering to building sophisticated visualizations, machine learning models and experiments. You will analyze PB-scale data, translate findings into actionable dashboards for operations and executives, while handling confidential data.

This remote-first role offers collaboration with global teams, 3 days per week commitment for 6 months, and opportunities for learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Math, or Statistics from an accredited university.
• Proficient in data engineering, modeling and ETL; experience with data sourcing and APIs.
• Experience with SQL, GraphQL, and Python for data querying.
• Available to commit a minimum of 3 days per week for at least 6 months.
• Understanding tokenomics and DeFi/Web3 infrastructure landscape.
• Experience with analytics tools such as Dune Analytics and Nansen.
• Understanding of addressing and metadata standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work across all aspects of data from engineering to building sophisticated visualizations, ML models and experiments.
• Analyze and interpret large volumes of transactional, operational and customer data using proprietary and open source data tools, platforms and analytical tool kits.
• Translate complex findings into simple visualizations and recommendations for execution by operational teams and executives.
• Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines.
• Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
• Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
