Job summary

ISI Emerging Markets Group invites a .NET Software Engineer to join the team in Kuala Lumpur. You will translate functional requirements into technical specs, produce documentation for engineers, and contribute to delivery planning with sizing and estimation.

You’ll help ensure code quality through reviews and testing strategies, building robust, scalable solutions. You will work with a Scrum team to deliver correct, performant code on schedule, and support ongoing improvement through defect

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Software Engineering with strong computing background.
3+ years of Object Oriented programming with at least 2+ years in C#.
Solid experience with MySQL, AWS Aurora and MongoDB.
Experience in WPF + MVVM, ASP.NET MVC4+, Web and RESTful API, .NET 8/10, and gRPC.

Responsibilities

Define, refine, develop, test and deliver against functional requirements.
Translate functional requirements into technical requirements and create technical docs.
Provide technical input to the project delivery plan including sizing and estimation.
Ensure code quality, perform reviews, and support testing strategies.
Develop and maintain test automation and ensure defect closure and root cause analysis.
