Lifted (an Upwork Company) is seeking skilled Malay audio transcription & quality review professionals to support an AI training initiative. You will transcribe audio verbatim, label speakers, and annotate non-speech events with high accuracy, working remotely.

The role requires 20+ hours weekly, with flexible scheduling, and a focus on consistent, high-quality output. Ideal candidates have expert-level Malay fluency, strong listening skills, and experience in transcription or linguistics.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Malay (regional accents & informal speech).
• Excellent listening and attention to detail required for verbatim transcription.

Responsibilities

• Listen to audio and produce verbatim Malay transcriptions.
• Include speaker labels for multi-speaker recordings.
• Insert precise timestamps (within 500ms).
• Annotate non-speech events like laughter or noise.
• Follow project instructions and maintain quality.
