Job summary

SearchApi is seeking a builder-designer hybrid who makes a developer-facing product feel premium. You design it in Figma and ship it yourself in Hotwire.

If you sweat the 200 ms of jank nobody else notices, and you have both the taste to design the thing and the skill to build it in production, this role is for you. You’ll own the frontend end-to-end, shaping dashboards, API playgrounds, docs, and marketing experiences.

Qualifications

• You design and build frontend you designed yourself with production-grade code.
• You work with a server-rendered, component-based stack (Rails + Hotwire preferred).
• You are fluent with Tailwind and a real design tool like Figma.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship front-end features from Figma to production.
• Own dashboards, API playgrounds, docs, and marketing UI.
• Create data-dense visualizations with honest data presentation.
• Polish UI with native HTML first and minimal JS bundles.
