Job summary

AI Chopping Block is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team building scalable products used by millions across the region. You will drive architecture, delivery and production reliability.

You will mentor engineers, set technical standards and partner with product, design and AI teams to turn ideas into robust systems that deliver real customer outcomes. This is a remote role with global teams.

Qualifications

Strong software engineering background with production systems.
Experience leading or managing software engineers and delivering engineering outcomes.
Deep technical knowledge across backend, frontend, databases, APIs, distributed systems or cloud infra.
Ability to balance speed, scalability and maintainability in architecture decisions.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of engineers across frontend, backend, and full stack development.
Own engineering delivery for major product areas, ensuring fast shipping with reliability.
Collaborate with product, design, mobile, backend and AI teams to translate problems into technical execution.
Drive architecture and engineering decisions across APIs, databases, integrations, infra and customer systems.
Set standards around code quality, testing, observability and production reliability.
Mentor engineers through feedback, coaching and performance management.
Improve processes, tooling and automation to move faster at scale.
Ensure production outcomes post-release by monitoring, incidents and root-cause analysis.
Build a culture focused on ownership, speed, and continuous improvement.
