Job summary

LRQA is seeking a Cyber Business Intelligence Engineer in Kuala Lumpur (remote in Malaysia) to design, develop, govern and continuously improve cyber reporting, analytics and workforce intelligence. You will build and support reporting solutions, semantic models, data transformations and forecasting tools to empower operational and commercial decisions.

Qualifications

Advanced Power BI development experience, including semantic models, DAX, Power Query, row-level security and performance optimisation.
Strong SQL and data modelling experience, including integration of multiple business systems and data sources.
Experience supporting enterprise reporting platforms, including Power BI and SentinelIQ‑style reporting environments.
Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse and related Microsoft technologies.
Knowledge of APIs, system integrations, and reporting automation.
Python, Microsoft Fabric, or Azure Data experience would be advantageous.
Strong understanding of KPI design, data quality, governance, reconciliation, security, and change control.
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable reporting, analytics, and automation solutions.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Experience in workforce planning, utilisation, resource scheduling, order book, revenue, or operational performance reporting.
Experience within cybersecurity, professional services, or consulting environments would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Translate business requirements into reporting, analytics, data, and automation solutions across domains.
Coordinate development, testing, release, implementation and user adoption for reporting improvements.
Design, build and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards and management information solutions.
Develop and support governed semantic models, reusable DAX measures, Power Query transformations and security.
Produce decision‑ready reporting covering revenue, utilisation, order book, workforce performance and margins.
Define KPI definitions, data sources and business rules; document data provenance.
Develop workforce planning and capacity reporting; connect workforce supply with revenue information.
Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and processes; implement Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse solutions.
