Atlas Media, a growth marketing agency, is seeking a Copywriter (Direct Response & Content) to craft direct response ad copy and social content across client accounts. You will write scripts and copy optimized for conversion, balancing performance metrics with compelling storytelling, while embracing AI as a tool in your workflow.

This fully remote role is based in Malaysia and involves collaboration with our Singapore team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of copywriting or content writing experience, agency experience preferred.
• Strong portfolio showing direct response and social content.
• Comfortable writing across tones and formats.
• Genuine use of AI tools in your writing workflow.
• Understanding of direct response copywriting principles.

Responsibilities

• Write direct response ad copy and scripts for paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and Google, optimized for conversion.
• Write general social media content across formats, educational, talking head, UGC-style, brand story, and trend-led content.
• Adapt tone and structure depending on funnel stage, from awareness to conversion.
• Use AI tools as part of your core workflow, while maintaining a strong editorial standard.
• Build and maintain content calendars and copy briefs for multiple client accounts.
• Translate client goals and data into copy angles that address what's working.
• Collaborate with media buyers to refine copy based on results, not just instinct.
• Brief videographers, editors, and on-camera talent remotely when scripts require production support.
• Track and analyze copy performance and adjust angles, hooks, and messaging according to data.
• Maintain a swipe file of high-performing hooks, angles, and structures across clients.
