Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Materials, Chemical, Mechanical, or related field).
• 3–5 years of experience in application engineering or technical support in relevant markets.
• Knowledge in adhesives, bonding tapes, single coated tapes, and/or labels.
• Knowledge of tape converting processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
• Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and test data.
• Experience supporting product validation, troubleshooting and customer trials.
• Able to communicate technical information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Able to work cross-functionally with sales, R&D and manufacturing.
• Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese (written and spoken).
• Willing to travel up to 25% for visits, trials or training.

Responsibilities

• Support growth strategies in key markets through application development and replication.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to develop new applications for bonding solutions.
• Provide product recommendations, evaluations and quality resolution support to customers.
• Conduct product and market training through in-person engagements and webinars.
• Partner with area leaders to define go-to materials via performance analysis and market trends.
• Coordinate and lead field trials with customers and evaluate competition and practices.
• Continuously build knowledge of market trends, conversions, and industry standards.
• Contribute to value propositions for effective commercialization.
• Identify market insights to support strategic decisions.
