Job summary

United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is seeking a Relationship Officer-PV in Private Banking to build and nurture strong relationships with a portfolio of high-value clients, delivering tailored financial solutions and driving business growth within the Private Banking sector.

You will manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, develop wealth management strategies, identify new clients, and collaborate with product specialists while ensuring compliance and accurate client records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in relationship management within banking/financial services, preferably with exposure to Private Banking or high-net-worth clients.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
• In-depth knowledge of financial products and services, including investment instruments, wealth management solutions, and credit facilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity and strong ethical conduct.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Fluency in other languages (e.g., Mandarin) is an advantage.

• Monitor market trends and economic conditions to provide timely and relevant financial insights to clients.
• Collaborate with product specialists and internal stakeholders to deliver integrated and holistic financial solutions.
• Ensure full compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and prepare regular reports on portfolio performance and client activities.
• Represent the bank at client events and industry functions to enhance brand visibility and foster client relationships.
