Job summary

Kerry Group in Malaysia is seeking a Regulatory Technologist to interpret regulatory queries about finished goods manufactured in Europe. The role sits in the Global Business Service centre, bridging product development and customer-facing information, with hybrid work and 12pm–9pm hours.

You will own regulatory requests, collaborate with RSA, RD&A, Quality, and Operations, and maintain technical documentation to support accurate, timely customer responses and business growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or related Life Science.
• 1-3 years of regulatory/QA/R&D experience in the food packaging industry.
• Knowledge of food regulations and quality systems.
• Willingness to work European shift hours and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Own and prioritise regulatory requests from assessment to resolution.
• Evaluate product info and provide evidence-based responses.
• Investigate documentation and identify gaps or risks.
• Use systems to retrieve and manage regulatory information.
• Update documentation and customer responses when info changes.
• Maintain technical documents and regulatory records with traceability.
• Collaborate with RD&A, Quality, Operations, and Commercial teams.
• Meet performance expectations for response quality and turnaround.
• Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining quality.
