Job summary

Kerry Group is seeking a Regulatory Specialist to manage daily regulatory inquiries for packaging materials used in Europe. The role collaborates with Regulatory Scientific Affairs, QA, Procurement, and Sales to ensure accurate, consistent information is delivered on time.

Candidates should have a degree in a relevant field and 2–3 years in food packaging regulatory/QA, with knowledge of European packaging legislation. Hybrid work arrangement in PJ, Malaysia is offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Food Science or related discipline.
• 2–3 years in food packaging industry regulatory/QA/production/R&D with knowledge of European packaging legislation.
• Experience with European packaging regulation is a plus.
• Willingness to work European shift hours and during public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support packaging requests efficiently and on time.
• Manage packaging material specifications approvals.
• Perform administrative duties within defined guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with EU regulations for Food Contact materials.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and drive KPIs.
• Assist with site audits for traceability of incoming packaging materials.
