Job summary

GXBank in Malaysia is seeking a dynamic Regulatory Reporting Specialist to join our team. You will manage MAS regulatory reporting duties for GXS Bank subsidiaries and Group reporting, ensuring accurate, timely submissions and strong controls across the reporting lifecycle.

You will drive automation, support new product launches, participate in year-end audits, and collaborate with stakeholders to maintain compliance and financial integrity in a fast-growing startup environment in Selangor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of banking experience focused on financial or regulatory reporting.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting guidelines, practices and Capital/Liquidity concepts.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to take on new challenges in a fast-growing startup environment.
• Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Creative, proactive problem-solving in a complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate support and delivery of assigned regulatory reporting returns.
• Compute regulatory ratios based on your area of expertise.
• Monitor regulatory ratios and alert management when actions are required.
• Stay up-to-date with regulatory updates, changes, and new requirements.
• Assess processes, outputs and controls to drive best-practice operations.
• Support new product launches through automation and end-user testing; assist with year-end audits.
