Job summary

GXBank in Malaysia is hiring for a leadership role in Regulatory Compliance and Reconciliation. You will own the preparation and submission of regulatory reports, lead the reconciliation team, and drive process improvements using Lean/Agile/Design Thinking to scale operations.

Applicants should have 4+ years in reconciliation and regulatory reporting with a Payments/Card Operations background, and be proficient in Python or JavaScript; BI tool experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in reconciliation and regulatory reporting.
• Strong financial domain knowledge with payments/card operations background.
• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript to manage data workflows.
• Experience with BI tools for performance tracking is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Own Regulatory Compliance: Lead preparation and submission of regulatory reports (PIDM/BNM).
• Lead the Reconciliation Team: oversee day-to-day reconciliation, GL monitoring, and team excellence.
• Drive Process Innovation: use data analytics to identify bottlenecks and implement Lean/Agile/Design Thinking improvements.
• Scale Operational Efficiency: enhance workflows and explore automation using Python/JavaScript.
