Job summary

OCBC Bank in Kuala Lumpur seeks a finance professional to support GL postings, reconciliations and regulatory reporting. You will validate data, prepare schedules, and ensure accuracy across accounting processes in a dynamic project environment.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and a keen eye for detail. Fresh graduates with a learning mindset are welcome for entry-level roles and will receive on-the-job training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline.
• 2–4 years of GL postings, reconciliations, or regulatory reports.
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Support project-related testing, migration validation and implementation.
• Perform GL mapping, journal postings, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Assist in data preparation, validation and reconciliation for regulatory reports.
• Prepare schedules, working papers and audit documentation.
• Monitor data quality issues, reconciliation breaks and reporting gaps.
• Maintain project-related process, controls and documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver project objectives.
• Oversee end-to-end AP and AR processes including invoices and payments.
• Ensure transactions comply with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Undertake ad hoc assignments as directed by Management.
