MR DIY Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Regulatory Compliance & Product Governance leader to steer Malaysia’s regulatory affairs across multiple product categories, from household to food and cosmetics. You will establish requirements, oversee approvals, and maintain GDPMD certification to ensure audit readiness and statutory compliance.

You will partner with Trade, Quality, Supply Chain, and external authorities, monitor developments, report KPIs, and mentor junior staff while driving risk

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree as stated.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product compliance, regulatory affairs, or related roles.
• Strong working knowledge of Malaysia’s regulatory framework across multiple product categories.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach team members and deliver high morale and performance.
• Experience managing regulatory audits, inspections, and authority engagements.
• Familiarity with ISO, quality management systems, and compliance-driven environments.

Responsabilidades

• Establish, maintain, and update regulatory and technical compliance across product categories.
• Lead regulatory assessments and approval processes for new onboarding and existing product maintenance.
• Oversee GDPMD certification and compliance with MDA requirements.
• Coordinate licenses and approvals with authorities and external consultants.
• Monitor regulatory developments and provide timely advisory to management.
• Collaborate with Trade, Purchasers, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve compliance issues.
• Track, analyze, and report compliance KPIs to drive continuous improvement and risk management.
