Job summary

Anchor Consulting SDN BHD in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Regulatory Compliance Lead to oversee regulatory compliance activities, policy development, risk assessments, and regulatory reporting for the telecommunications sector.

Your role includes engaging with authorities such as MCMC, KPDN, KPKT and Bank Negara Malaysia, developing and maintaining compliance frameworks, and delivering training to employees to promote a strong compliance culture across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in legal, compliance, risk management, governance, or audit.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks governed by Malaysian authorities (MCMC, KPDN, KPKT, BNM).
• Proven experience developing and implementing compliance programs, policies, and controls.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess the impact of new regulatory requirements on operations and recommend actions.
• Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards issued by authorities.
• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments to identify risks and areas for improvement.
• Provide compliance training and awareness programs for employees.
• Monitor ongoing compliance activities through audits and reviews to ensure adherence.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports and documentation to authorities.
• Investigate compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote a strong compliance culture.
• Prepare updates and reports for senior management and key stakeholders.
