Job summary

Maybank Investment Banking Group is seeking a regulatory advisory professional to guide product and business initiatives while ensuring compliance with SC, Bursa Malaysia, and BNM. The role involves advising on regulatory requirements, conducting compliance reviews for new products, and providing governance input across product lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Accounting/Finance/Legal/Business Administration.
• At least 3 years of experience in product & technology compliance, risk management, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements from SC, Bursa Malaysia, and BNM.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory advice on new products, enhancements, and business initiatives.
• Perform compliance reviews of new products, structured products, and derivatives before launch.
• Act as the registered Compliance Officer for derivatives-related activities and oversee regulatory reporting.
• Coordinate and engage with regulators on product-related matters and regulatory inspections.
• Engage with Front Office, Risk, Operations, Legal, and Technology to embed regulatory compliance in product lifecycle management.
