Job summary

Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad is seeking an Assistant Manager, Group Regulatory Advisory to disseminate new and revised regulations to stakeholders and coordinate responses for submissions. The role includes preparing GA & AOC, maintaining templates, and publishing regulations to internal portals.

Responsibilities

• Disseminate new/revised regulations to stakeholders.
• Disseminate regulatory/industry consultations to relevant business units to comment/review and coordinate responses for submission.
• Prepare and review Gap Analysis and Attestation of Compliance for new/revised regulations submitted by stakeholders.
• Review and maintain GA & AOC Template Process.
• Review Group Compliance Risk Assessment submitted by stakeholders.
• Maintain Regulatory Risk Matrix.
• Publish regulations to InAlliance Portal.
• Provide compliance advisory to assist business units in managing regulatory risk.
• Review publications and communication materials.
• Provide compliance advisory on new initiatives/projects.
• Conduct training for new joiners and onboarded staff.
• Engage continuously with business units/support units.
• Review Regulatory Breach Notifications to ensure reasonable corrective actions.
• Notify regulators of regulatory breaches.
• Submit secrecy breach reports to regulators.
• Liaise between the Bank and regulators/government bodies/associations.
• Attend ad-hoc advisory matters requested by the Group Chief Compliance Officer.
• Review tasks completed by subordinates and provide guidance and supervision.
