Job summary

KPJ Selangor Specialist Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to support Organization and Management within the Nursing Services. You will provide holistic care, coordinate with physicians and unit staff, and document care accurately in patient files.

This role emphasizes patient-centered care, adherence to standards, effective handovers, and proactive communication with patients’ families and colleagues across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Registered with Nursing Board of Malaysia with a valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Possess certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Proficient in writing and conversing in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Microsoft Office literacy.

Responsibilities

• Understands and carries out nursing care in line with Vision and Mission Statements and unit goals.
• Works shift duties and informs Unit Manager when changes affect standards of care.
• Receives and handover patient reports; documents progress and plans care accordingly.
• Ensures doctors’ orders are carried out before shift change and on taking over case.
• Conducts regular nursing rounds and provides emotional support to patients and families.
• Assists in procedures; liaises with doctors/consultants regarding patient care.
