Job summary

You will participate in nursing rounds, document care, communicate with doctors, support infants and children, and assist in procedures while maintaining patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Registered with Nursing Board of Malaysia with a valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• PALS certification.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Visit patients in the unit with team members to assess conditions, re-plan nursing care, and determine nursing priorities based on patient needs and staff availability.
• Conduct nursing rounds, provide emotional support, and assist in procedures as needed.
• Execute doctor’s orders and coordinate with team members related to patients’ treatment.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and promptly report abnormal findings to doctors or consultants.
• Participate in health education of patients and families in the ward and in unit meetings and hospital activities.
• Collaborate with unit manager for administration, bed management, and equipment/stock oversight.
