KPJ Selangor Specialist Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care across hospital units, including critical care, while adhering to policies and patient safety standards.

You will conduct nursing rounds, document care, communicate clearly with doctors, patients and families, and participate in health education and quality improvement initiatives to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Registered with Nursing Board of Malaysia with a valid license to practice.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required.

Aufgaben

• Adhere to nursing care vision, mission and priorities; perform shift duties as assigned to ensure high-quality care.
• Notify unit manager of changes affecting standards of care.
• Handover patient progress reports and follow doctor's orders before shifts change; notify incidents.
• Visit patients with the team to assess conditions and re-plan care.
• Provide personalized, comprehensive care with meticulous documentation and communication of abnormal findings.
• Conduct nursing rounds, provide emotional support, and assist in procedures.
• Execute doctor’s orders and coordinate with the team for treatments; communicate with patients and relatives.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients about condition and care options.
• Engage in patient and family health education within ward and hospital activities.
• Provide continuous cardiac monitoring, interpret ECG/ABG, and collaborate with physicians for care.
• Assist in patient transfers and discharge planning, and arrange specialist appointments.
• Collaborate with unit manager on administration, standards, and bed management.
