Job summary

JDE Peet’s in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, seeks a Regional Project Delivery Lead (Innovation) to oversee APAC project delivery managers and drive on-time, quality achievement across major initiatives in Innovation & Growth, Value Optimization, and Manufacturing. You will lead cross-functional teams, build an APAC project lead network, and partner with regional PMO to ensure scalable, end-to-end delivery.

A senior, FMCG-savvy professional with 10+ years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred (or equivalent) in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Innovation and/or business delivery, preferably in FMCG.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of APAC Project Delivery Managers across key programs.
• Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of projects to market across Innovation & Growth, Value Optimization, Manufacturing Network, Business Continuity and Quality & Compliance.
• Coordinate cross-functional activity to translate opportunities into clear project scope and initiation.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams including Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and R&D.
• Build and sustain a regional APAC Project Lead network and community.
• Support the Regional PMO Lead with coordination, resource allocation and planning.

Job Description

Primary responsibilities of the APAC Project Delivery Lead are:

• Direct management of the APAC Project Delivery Managers that manage and deliver the key business critical projects across Innovation & Growth, Value Optimization, Manufacturing Network, Business Continuity and Quality & Compliance.
• On time, and In Quality (OTIQ) delivery of all key business critical projects to market across all JDE programs including Innovation & Growth, Value Optimization, Manufacturing Network, Business Continuity and Quality & Compliance.
• Cross-functional collaboration to transform the growth opportunity coming from commercial teams into a clear and concise scope to progress initiatives to Project Start and ensuring delivery execution through disciplined implementation of initiatives.
• Integrated delivery of one or more larger (high business impact and risk) renovation growth projects and Value Optimization initiatives to market, acting as the project lead and managing multi-disciplinary project teams consisting of Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and R&D.
• Establish a cross functional APAC Project Lead network and community.
• Support the Regional PMO Lead with:

• Co-ordination of APAC projects as part of cross program management, including resource allocation, phasing and priority setting to ensure efficient delivery.
• Building project management capability across APAC, embedding Project Management tools, and ways of working across the organization to enable scalability, repeatability and long-term value creation beyond the initial roll out.
• Scoping activities to build and shape a regional Innovation & Growth funnel to ensure opportunities meet value, feasibility, risk and readiness criteria, including consolidation of this into the bi-annual 36month Planning process.

Qualifications

Education:Master’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Business
Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.

Experience:

Must have:

• Culturally sensitive agility
• Project & Process management experience
• Business development experience or affinity
• Broad understanding of Finance, Marketing, R&D, Operations, Sales
• A minimum of 10 years relevant experience in Innovation and/or relevant business delivery preferably in the FMCG;
