Job summary

Pegacorn Sdn Bhd is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a region of restaurant locations. You will oversee a team of Area Managers, drive regional KPIs, budgets, and sales targets, and ensure food quality, service, and hygiene standards across the region.

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous improvement, with hands-on involvement in staff development and regional planning across multiple districts.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in multi-store operations with proven records of achievement in sales & cost control objectives and operations standards.
• Degree or Diploma in any discipline is required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.
• Analytical and report writing skills are required.
• Attention to detail with excellent follow-up abilities.
• Ability to supervise people across diverse cultures and educational levels.
• Business acumen with a solid understanding of figures & P&L statements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a minimum of 6 Districts and regional performance against KPIs and standards.
• Plan budgets, maximize profits and achieve sales targets.
• Manage Area Managers' store visits and performance.
• Conduct monthly Business Reviews with Area Managers.
• Provide regional sales analyses and proposals on KPIs, sales, and financial results.
• Daily intervention on financial and customer service issues from reports and complaints.
• Involve in recruiting, training and developing staff.
• Prepare master plans for new restaurant openings, ensuring hygiene and safety compliance.
• Maintain high standards of customer service.
• Instill company policies, procedures and ethics within the team.
• Handle customer complaints and queries.
• Support branded promotional campaigns launched by Marketing, including POS materials.
• Prepare reports and other performance analysis documents.
