Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a senior strategy professional to lead and support cross-functional initiatives across the Group. You will break down complex business problems, identify key questions, and develop structured recommendations for management.

You will conduct market research, evaluate opportunities, translate ideas into actionable programs, and prepare executive-ready materials to drive decisions. Collaboration with leaders will be essential to deliver measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support strategic projects across the Group, particularly on topics that cut across multiple functions, business units or countries.
• Break down complex or ambiguous business problems, identify the key questions that matter, and develop structured recommendations for management.
• Conduct research and analysis on industries, markets, competitors, customers and emerging trends to identify opportunities and implications for the business.
• Evaluate new business opportunities, operating models, partnerships, market opportunities and strategic initiatives.
• Deep-dive into specific areas of the business to understand what is working, what is not, and what needs to change.
• Translate strategic ideas into clear initiatives, action plans and measurable outcomes.
• Work closely with functional and business leaders to drive selected strategic initiatives from problem definition through recommendation and, where required, implementation.
• Develop clear, concise and executive-ready materials to support discussions and decision-making by senior leadership.
• Challenge existing assumptions and bring an independent, fact-based perspective to important business decisions.
• Track selected strategic priorities and ensure that decisions translate into execution and measurable results.
• Support the Group CSO and senior leadership on ad-hoc strategic projects and emerging business priorities.
