Job summary

Pride Global is seeking a General Manager – Machining Division to provide strategic and operational leadership for its machining operations across Malaysia and Singapore. You will drive performance, quality, cost competitiveness, and sustainable growth, aligning sites to deliver on safety, delivery, and cost goals.

Responsibilities include overseeing CNC machining, manufacturing engineering, process development, tooling and automation; promoting Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen; and optimizing OEE,

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience within manufacturing, precision engineering, or advanced machining.
• 8–10 years in senior leadership roles with direct responsibility for machining or manufacturing operations.
• Proven track record in managing multi-site manufacturing operations, regional plants, or geographically distributed teams.
• Strong technical and operational expertise in CNC machining, precision engineering, manufacturing processes, and production management.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional leadership for Machining Division across Malaysia and Singapore, aligning sites to SQDC objectives.
• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the division aligned with long-term business objectives.
• Oversee CNC machining, manufacturing engineering, process development, tooling, automation, and capacity planning; drive Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality systems; drive quality improvements.
• Take overall responsibility for P&L, budgets, capital expenditure, and KPI performance; build relationships with customers and suppliers; lead a high-performing leadership team across sites.
