Job summary

Ambition partners with a multinational consumer products and retail company to hire a Regional FP&A Manager based in Petaling Jaya. You will lead the regional financial planning and analysis function, owning forecasting and budgeting end-to-end and reporting to the CFO.

You will analyse variances, partner with business units to optimise performance, conduct financial and non-financial analysis, and present findings to senior management.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• At least 10 years of relevant finance experience; FMCG or retail experience advantageous.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills; ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent communication skills; able to present insights clearly to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Analyse forecast versus actual variances to sharpen planning accuracy.
• Partner with business functions to optimise performance and manage costs.
• Conduct financial and non-financial analysis to uncover improvement opportunities.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Provide ad hoc business analysis to support management decision-making.
