Job summary

Ambition partners with a multinational consumer products and retail company to hire a Regional FP&A Manager based in Petaling Jaya. You will lead the regional financial planning and analysis function, owning forecasting and budgeting end-to-end and reporting to the CFO.

You will analyse variances, partner with business units to optimise performance, conduct financial and non-financial analysis, and present findings to senior management.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• At least 10 years of relevant finance experience; FMCG or retail experience advantageous.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills; ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent communication skills; able to present insights clearly to senior stakeholders.

We are currently recruiting for multinational consumer products and retail company, who are looking to hire Regional FP&A Manager talent to lead the FP&A function, based in Petaling Jaya.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a high-influence role at the heart of the business. You'll take ownership of the regional financial planning and analysis function:

• Leading the end-to-end financial forecasting and budgeting process.
• Analysing forecast versus actual variances to sharpen planning accuracy over time.
• Partnering with business functions to optimise performance and manage costs effectively.
• Conducting financial and non-financial analysis to uncover improvement opportunities.
• Presenting findings and recommendations clearly to senior management.
• Providing ad hoc business analysis to support management decision-making.

Skills & Experience Required:

• A degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• At least 10 years of relevant finance experience, having experience in FMCG or retail environment is highly advantageous
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to present insights clearly to senior stakeholders
